Last Night...

Went home, my parents and grandma showed up at my house. We all travelled together to the hall where the reception will be. We booked it for Oct. 27th next year. Then we went to swiss chalet for supper, it took about an hour to get our food. We got home, i read until heroes came on, watched that and then read some more before heading off to bed.

After work I headed to the grocery store to pick up some garlic bread to go with dinner. From there I headed to my sisters place and did some prep work for dinner while I waited for my sister and her friend to get home. Following dinner I headed to Brians to watch Prison Break and Heros. Once the shows wrapped up I headed home, watched some more tv and went to bed.

Friday: Drove up to Guelph, had a long delay at Cambridge due to an accident. Took the back roads the last bit of the way in. Ate pizza with Janet's friends and watched Dead Like Me before calling it a night.

Saturday: Got up and drove into T. for a Fraser Instutite Seminar, turnout was lower than previous years due to a PC Youth Convention across town. After the seminar we hung around for drinks with some of the Fraser people, then got some dinner before crashing the PC Convention for some free beer.

Sunday: Had breakfast (pancakes) with Janet's Aunt and Uncle, then stopped in Waterloo for lunch (omlettes) with Janet's brother. Got home around 6 and spent the rest of the night on campaign stuff and TV.

The Weekend

Friday night after work I headed to the gym to work out for a bit. From there I headed to Brians where we relaxed and played Sonic for a while. Eventually we made our way out of the house and headed to Feel Goods to have a couple drinks and shoot some pool. To finish up the night we hit up McDonalds drive-thru, ate, and headed home.

Saturday I dropped off a couple things on my sisters behalf. I then spent the remainder of the day lounging around watching college football and drifting in and out of naps. Later in the evening I headed to Tony Macaronni's for dinner. After dinner we got the party started at Brian's place and eventually made a whirl-wind tour around campus bars starting with the pub, then Big Dicks, and finally Faces. We finished the night with some time spent at Kokopelli's and then some food from Bubi's.

Sunday I woke up and headed to football, played football, then headed home to recover from football. I spent the remainder of the afternoon limiting my movements. Eventually we ordered a pizza for dinner. After dinner I headed back to the city to help out with some computer stuff and then it was off to Spicoli's for the usual weekend closer.

The Weekend...

Friday: Went home, was feeling like crap, so was Mar so we stayed home from the halloween party, watched a bit of tv (finally watched monday's heroes) and went to bed early.

Saturday: Went to the travel agency to look into the price of the vegas wedding. From there we headed to the masonic temple to see what it was like. It was nice, we got Mar's parents to book it for the hall after we get back from vegas. Has lots of parking, which is nice. After that we came home, i was still feeling like crap so i layed down for a bit. We watched ice age 2 later that night. And we were in bed by midnight.

Sunday: Got up and got groceries. Then we got our engagement photos taken, it turned out to be a fairly nice day. Once we got home i mowed the lawn, weedwhacked, fertilized the lawn and worked cleaning out my little shed, and then putting everything away for winter. By the time i got that done, Mar had dinner ready. We opted to watch bram stoker's dracula and tape the other shows, then we went to bed.

Went to the campaign office briefly before heading down to Roseland for curling. We won handily (in no part because of me) and then had a few drinks before heading home.

After work I headed to the gym for a bit. From the gym I headed to the mall to kill some time until I heard more details on the events planned for the evening. Eventually I met up for dinner at Moxies, then headed to Cramdon's to finish watching the baseball game. After the game wrapped up I headed home to bed.

Went home, read, had tacos for supper. It turned out the taco soft and hard shells packaging was open so they were all stale. After supper we headed to the mall to pick up a sweater for me for our engagement pictures. When we went to leave we ran into Mark, whose hair looked darker for some reason. Then Mar and I went home, I watched smallville, then anger management and went to bed.

After work I made a stop off at the mall to catch up with my cousin. We grabbed a coffee and a quick bite to eat before I eventually headed out. From there I went to my sisters house for a visit and then it was off to Brian's to relax and get ready for the Tiger's game. We then left for Rock Bottom. had some wings and a few drinks while waiting for the official cancellation of the game. Once that came around we left and headed for home shortly after.

Went home, read, ate. We headed out shopping again to pick up pictures we had developed the night before. Stopped by value village again and picked a shirt and a pair of old black jeans. Then we headed back home, i found out the jeans were skin tight. So i cut the jeans up to the knee and safety pinned them back together, as they wouldn't even fit my calves. Then i washed the clothes up since they smelled like stale smoke. We watched weeds, i caught parts of it's always sunny in phili, along with the daily show and colbert report, then i went to bed.

After work I headed to the gym, from there it was off to my sisters place to teach her and a roommate how to create a very basic html file that met the requirements of their assignment. Once everything wrapped up there I headed to Brian's to watch the baseball game. We watched a couple innings at his place and then went over to Cramdon's to watch the remainder. It was then home to bed.

Went home, started a new book, ate. We headed out to several places to look for halloween costumes for a party Mar told me we were going to on friday. We finally decided on being goths, although i'm not sure if my slayer shirt is goth enough, but who really cares. Then we watched a bit of tv and went to bed.

Went to my parents' place. We had dinner with Mar and her parents. Discussed wedding plans, worked out some more details of how it's going to all go down. Made it home in time to watch the daily show and colbert report, then went to bed.

After work I headed home, grabbed some dinner and then my family and I headed off to the church for the mission presentation. Following the presentation we attended a small reception in the church hall and then eventually headed home. Once we got home I watched the usual Monday night shows and then headed to bed.

Weekend Update

Friday: Did some campaign work, met up with Janet at Moxie's for dinner, went to see The Prestige (two thumbs up).

Saturday: Breakfast by the campaign office, campaign work, went to the sailing club because the boat was supposed to come out, but they were behind schedule with only one crane. I returned to the campaign office to finish up. Then went home for a bit before meeting up with a friend (and later Janet) to watch the ball game at Murphy's.

Sunday: Campaign work in the morning / early afternoon, watching football, over to my parent's for dinner, and back to my place to watch baseball and do laundry.

Friday night after work I headed to the gym. Following the gym I headed to Brian's to get the evening started. After dinner there everyone else started to arrive for the beginning of Gino's birthday weekend. After a few drinks and some relaxing we headed to Bowlero for a few games of Rock N' Bowl. After bowling we headed to Spicoli's for a bit and then finished the night up at Rock Bottom.

Saturday I spent the majority of the day resting. Eventually I got up and headed to Gino's place for lunch/dinner and b-day cake. After dinner we all watched a bit of the Tiger's game before heading downtown to Avalon (where we finished watching the game). After Avalon we headed to Aardvark's. After the bar closed we headed to Shwarama Palace for a bite to eat and then it was time to call it a night.

Sunday morning came early since I needed to make it to football (which I thought would be cancelled as a result of the rain). Much to my surprise we had enough people turn out to put a decent game together. After football a few of us went to Arby's for lunch. Following that I lounged around the house until eventually headed to Brian's for coffee. Evnetually I made my way to Spicoli's to finish up the weekend.

Friday: Took the day off to re-shingle my shed roof. We started at about 8:40 am and finished up around 6:30pm. Then we took my parents out to supper to thank them for all their work. After that we watched the season premier of south park and a bit more tv before falling asleep.

Saturday: Slept in a little bit, was incredibly sore when i woke up. My legs and back were killing me. We babysat Mar's nephew for most of the day, then relaxed for the evening. Decided to drop the jamaican wedding idea and instead go for a vegas wedding. It'll be cheaper and easier for people to go.

Sunday: Once again we babysat Tyler, did some shopping, watched some tv. Was completely wiped all day, so mostly i just tried to rest.

My post-work evening kicked off with a trip to the gym. From the gym I headed to my sisters to join My Dad and her for dinner. Once dinner wrapped up we just sat around watching television until I was eventually called away to meet up with everyone at Brian's and then Cramdon's.

Stopped by the campaign office, met up with some guys on my curling team for dinner at Roseland, put up some signs, returned to the campaign office, went home and watched Following.

From work I headed to the mall for a bit to visit my cousin at work. I also popped in to H&M to say hello to a couple people I know working there. I later met up with a couple people at Moxies for dinner. Following dinner we left for Baker's place, relaxed a bit, watched some television and eventually headed home.

After work I went home (fooled ya) had some dinner and watched the news for a piece on Alan's blog that was supposed to air. After determining it wasn't going to I dropped by the campaign office before heading downtown to a Ward 3 candidates meeting. After that I met up with Janet at the Coffee Exchange and mooched off their Wi-Fi (one purhcase required every 1.5 hours, bring your own computer).

Went home, read, ate. Mar's family came over for her nephew's birthday. A few spills later and a bunch of carpet scrubbing, i retired to watching tv, reading and then bed.

Went home, read, ate. Vaccumed, cleaned the downstairs bathroom, made up some coax cable(well i put the end on it), ran the cable and tacked it up. Watch heroes and a bit more tv and reading before heading off to bed.

Friday: Went to Wendy's for supper, then over to Walmart to pick up a present for Mar's nephew, ended up meeting half of Mar's family shopping for the same thing. My cousin stopped by, we watched x-men 3.
Saturday: Picked up some RG6 cable and a 4 way amp. Returned my pci winTV-PVR and got the usb2 version. Spent a good portion of the day trying to get it to work. My cousin stopped by again, we played on the ps2 a bit. Later, Mar and i watched tv then went to bed.
Sunday: Got up way to early around 8:30 am, did some groccery shopping, then headed out to her nephew's bday party. After that i did some stuff around the house, watched a bit of tv and went to bed.

Sunday: Slept a good chunk of the day away; eventually headed to my Aunts for dinner (it was her birthday). From there I headed to fix an iPod and then to Spicolis. Once things wrapped up there I headed home to bed.

Friday: After work I went over to the campaign office. From there I went out to take down a sign put up by mistake, then made quick stop at home before meeting up with Alan at Big Tony's for a few drinks.

Saturday: Met Alan and some volunteers at the office. They went out to hand out flyers, I put up a few signs around the office location. We met back at the office for lunch, then I took off for a dentist appointment. After a brief stop back at the office I went home and watched baseball. Janet finished work and we headed down to Honest Lawyer to meet up with friends, then over to TBQ for a late night snack.

Sunday: More campaign office work followed by some laundry and then dinner at my parent's place.

Went to the campaign office. Put our big sign back up. Distributed installation of small signs. Got some dinner at Gilligan's. Worked on some more sign locations. Went home to watch South Park and called it a night.

After work I headed to my Grandma's to hook up he DVD player and install a swivel tray for her television so she could watch it from the balcony and in the living room. Afterwords I headed to the mall to grab a quick bite to eat before heading to Brews and Cues. Once there we had some drinks and some more food. After the baseball game wrapped up I headed home to watch Lost and get some sleep.

Went home, read, ate. Mar had parent teacher interviews, so i rested and then worked on an old computer. She came home, we watched a bit of tv, weeds and it's always sunny in phili and then went to bed.

After work I went to the campaign office, did some work and then headed to Canadian Tire to buy some supplies. After that I went home, ate some food, watched some baseball and Janet came over.

Went home, Mar's nephew arrived shortly there after. I was supposed to go to my parents place, but was feeling under the weather and had a slight fever so i stayed home. Just relaxed and slowly worked on an old computer all evening, then went to bed.

Weekend Update

Friday: Left work, went home and picked up Janet. Made our way to the airport and flew out about 10 minutes late. Landed in Baltimore around 9pm and took a train downtown. From there we took the metro to our hotel (a little run down, but friendly staff and a great location for $99). After checking in we took a quick walk around the block and decided to eat at the restaurant next to the hotel. I enjoyed some local beer with our complimentary popcorn and then ordered a burger with chips and an oreo cookie. After that we called it a night.

Saturday: Woke up and headed to a local waffle house for breakfast. Right next to the waffle house was the house where Lincoln died, so we walked around it. We then went to the Mall and took in the Capitol, the Washington Monument, the WW2 Memorial, the Lincoln Memorial and the Vietnam Memorial. Sadly, we missed the Korean War Memorial and the opportunity to have our picture take with the Freedom Isn't Free inscription while holding up $1.05.

After Lincoln we got some lunch at a great place called the Corner Bakery and took a walk past the back of the White House. We then took a walk into China Town and stopped in the Verizon Centre to buy something for my sister. We took a break for some coffee in Starbucks, then headed back to the hotel.

Around 6:30pm we met up with our friends (one from Washington, another down from Ottawa) for a tasty Thai dinner. That was followed by a house party where we drank some beer left over from the Big Gay Fundraiser (to fight a Virginia anti-gay marriage ammendment) and walked to a karaokee bar. My offer to sing the theme from Team America was not taken up, so I just watched the others.

Around 1:00am we got a slice of pizza and took a cab back to our hotel.

Sunday: Made our way to the Int'l Spy Museum, including some breakfast in their restaurant. After an interesting tour we hopped on the Metro to Virginia to meet up at the grocery store. We met up with our friends again and did the necessary shopping for Canadian Thanksgiving. Predictably the only turkeys we could find were frozen, so we went with a pre-cooked one. We then hiked back to the house and began food prep.

As we prepared dinner we presented our host with the traditional Canadian Thanksgiving offers of Canadian Club and Smarties. A couple other people (one from Toronto, living in Washington and one real American) joined us and brought the pies. We ate, drank, talked and watched Tivo'd episodes of It's Always Sunny in Philidelphia until about 1am, then caught a cab back home.

Monday: Returned to the Waffle House for a quick breakfast before taking the Metro back out to Virginia to visit one of the aforementioned friends at the Institute for Human Studies. She showed us around the office, introducing us as "the Canadian libertarians" while we explained the details of Canadian Thanksgiving.

After that we made our way back to DC for a quick tour of the Jefferson Memorial before getting back to the hotel, picking up our bags and heading to the airport. Our plane was about an hour late, but eventually we made it back to Detroit and drove home.

Thanksgiving Long Weekend

Friday: Went to Rock Bottom to watch the Tigers game, relaxed a bit, went home
Saturday: Watched the Tigers game at Brians place, relaxed a bit, had dinner and partied there for the remainder of the evening.
Sunday: Lounged around the house for the majority of the day, had the family dinner mid-afternoon and eventually headed in to Spicoli's for the usual Sunday night festivities.
Monday: After sleeping in a fair bit I headed to Thanksgiving dinner (Round II). From there a few of us headed in to Papa Cheney's for some drinks and a bit of Monday night football. After the half time draw we headed home.

The Long Weekend...

Friday: Went to Swiss Chalet for supper, then got my hair cut. We did a bit of shopping, where i picked up a win-pvr.
Saturday: Thanksgiving at my parent's
Sunday: Thanksgiving at Mar's parent's
Monday: Picking up a couple things from Mar's uncle's place, and working on Mar's dad's computer. By then it was 5pm, so i qucikly mowed lawn and washed my car before it got dark. We watched heroes, along with a bit more tv and went to bed.

After work I went by a meeting for S. Walkerville residents with flooded basements to take a few pictures for Alans' website. After that Janet bought some groceries while I got a hair cut, then we went to my place and she made curry. We ate and watched a couple episodes of Bullshit!

Went home, read, ate. Cleaned up after supper, then read some more. Watched smallville, did 3 loads of laundry. Watched a little more tv and went to bed.

After work I headed to Kevin's place to pick up a set of football tickets. A couple other people than arrived and we ordered a pizza for dinner. The remainder of the time at Kevins was spent fixing his new laptop and watching television. Later in the evening I headed to Brews & Cues to play a bit of pool before heading home for the night.

Went home, Tyler, Mar's nephew was there. I spent a few minutes with them until his parent's arrived, then read. We ate supper, did a few things around the house, and watched tv. We had taped heroes from the night before, so we watched that, not a bad show. Then watched part of the daily show and went to bed.

After work I headed to the gym for an hour or so. Following the gym we headed to Cramdon's for a b ite to eat for dinner. From there it was off to the movies (saw Little Miss Sunshine, which was quite enjoyable). After the movie I made a brief stop of at my sisters to drop off her laundry that my Mom had done for her. Once that was done I headed home for some sleep.

Went to Zehrs to get some food. Bought a samosa and some Chicken Korma for dinner. Gave two bucks to some woman in the parking lot who was trying to get her grand kid back from California. Got home and found that I'd left my samosa somewhere in the store, after a brief mourning period I had Pad Thai for dinner instead.

Janet came over and we went over to the campaign office for a bit.

After work I headed to my sister, browsed the internet for a bit, had dinner then sat down to watch Prison Break. We were unfortunately faced with the political debate taking place across the broder, which delayed the airring of Prison Break until 9:00. We opted to tape Prison Break at 9:00 and watch Heros instead. Following our television watching I headed off to Cramdon's for a drink and then headed home.

Went home, read, ate. The cat was gone when i got home, so i started cleaning up. I picked up all the blankets we put down on the family room carpet. They were covered with kitty litter and hair, so i shook them outside and then washed them up. Did a few other things, watched some tv and went to bed.

The Weekend

Friday: After work we first made a quick stop off at Walmart in an effort to find a bathing suit for the planned trip to the gym. Following which we headed to the gym where we signed up for our membership and then did some cardio before heading out. From the gym I headed to Brians where we relaxed for a bit and had a couple drinks before heading downtown for Mercedes' birthday (first stopping at Jack Rabbit Slims, the to the Loop and eventually ending at Room with a Cue). Once that all wrapped up I headed home to catch a little shut eye.

Saturday: After forcing myself to wake up against my will, I headed to golf to meet up with everyone. The morning got off to a slow start but after a cup of coffee, some jello shots and a few beers I was ready to go. Once golf wrapped up a few of us headed to Billy's for some more drinks and some pool. Following that a few of us hit up the liqour store and headed to Tim's place to continue the festivities. Eventually I left there and headed downtown to continue the evening. Things started out at Jack Rabbit Slims again, and ended at the Casino.

Sunday: The day eventually got started with a late breakfast at Golden Griddle. From there I made a brief stop at Price Choppers to pick up a couple things for my Grandma. I then dropped off said groceries at my sisters and headed back to Harrow. After a lengthy nap over the course of the afternoon I returned for our usual weekend wrap up at Spicoli's.

Friday: Stopped by KFC to pick up a bucket of chicken. Much to my dismay the bucket was mostly white mean. The rest of the night we just relaxed.

Saturday: Got up early and went golfing with the company at woodland hills. I had a good time, then we headed to billy bostons for a bit of pool and wings. After that i headed home, watched some more bleach. Mar made it home later after watching some fashion show her aunt was in. We relaxed the rest of the evening.

Sunday: Got up, got groceries, paid some bills. Mowed lawn, helped Mar set up some sort of fall decoration outside. Watched some tv and went to bed.

Today the cat goes home.
