Last Night

After work I headed home for a brief stop to pick up my sqash gear. I then proceeded to Place Concorde to meet up with my cousin for squash. After squash I returned home for the evening to watch tv and lounge around the house. Later in the night, as I usually do with Thursday nights, I headed to the Brick House. We hung around there for the remainder of the night.

Went home, read, ate. Went to dollarama, thought i had more money in my wallet then i did. Went to the bank on the way home. Read a bit more, ended up watching part of half baked. Then switched over to one of the hockey games and soon after went to bed.

After work I headed home, watched some tv, grabbed a shorter than expected nap, went to Moxies, wandered the mall, went to brews & cues, then finished the night up at Cramdon's.

Went home, read, ate. Then read some more until about 10pm, where i switched over to watching some tv, then went to bed.

Went home and read for a little bit. Then figured i should file my taxes, so i tried out one suggested by my sister, ufile.ca. And after a few calls to find out info from my previous tax returns i had it all sent off. Then i made some supper and watched a few things i had taped. Mar came home, she had a bunch of work to do, so i watched a bit more tv and eventually went to bed.

After work I returned home, my sister and Grandma stopped by for a visit, and we discussed the price returned by the appraiser sho came by earlier that day to appraise my Baba's house (the one I've been staying in). It's more than I expected, so things will get interesting as far as me buying it are concerned. After they left I returned to my book for a while, then cut the grass and collected the garbage. I then had some dinner, returned to the book and then watched a little television. Eventually I went to Cramdon's for drinks and to watch a little hockey. Upon returning home I finished the book, watched a little OT hockey and went to bed.

After work I headed to my sisters to help her get some things down from the attic. Once I was up in the attic I couldn't see the bin she had requested I help get down. After she repeatedly claimed it was up there she finally decided to go look elsewhere in the house where she immediately found it... long story short I probably didn't need to go over there. After that I watched last weeks episodes of Prison Break and 24, followed by this weeks episodes of Prison Break and 24. Once those wrapped up I headed to bed, did some reading and fell asleep.

Went home, read, ate. Went for a walk with Mar. Watched some tv. While walking around the house my glasses fell apart, so i operated on them. Turned out the thread of the hole holding the left lens in was stripped. So i got the soldering iron out and operated, i now has new threads. Then we watched the end of the hockey game, a bit of the daily show and then went to bed.

Weekend Update

Friday: BBQ steak at Janet's, followed by hockey watching.

Saturday: Softball practice, lunch at Rock Bottom, a nap at home, and then my friend's stag and doe party - where I was able to pick my long awaited Jerome Iginla autographed poster.

Sunday: Played paintball, went to my parents for dinner with Janet and then went home to watch the Flames lose to Anaheim.

The Weekend...

Friday: Went home, then went out for a drive. Mar was at her aunt's place for her cousin's bday party, so i had the evening to myself. I didn't go cuz i'm crazy alergic to their cat and even when i take a claritin i can only spend about 2 hrs in their house before i'm ruined. So i stayed home, put on a sweater i forgot i wore to Mar's parents place to visit her cat the night before. I got really cold, but it was 77F in the house, didn't think anything of it, cuz i'm always cold. Then i got all stuffed up, i could feel my heart beating, my stomach started killing me and i was beat tired. I went to go up stairs, turned my head to look back and got a mouth full of cat fur from my hood. So i changed my sweater, took a claritin and it all cleared up by 11pm.

Saturday: Went shopping at cosco with the parents. Went to canadian tire and picked up a weed eater. Came home, mowed lawn. Went inside and ate supper, then put together the weed eater. We got ready and headed out to room with a cue, for a bday party for one of Mar's friends. Stayed for a little while then headed home. Watched some tv and relaxed the rest of the evening.

Sunday: Got up early and went to a church since i'm supposed to be the godfather to Mar's sister's kid. We met with the preist, then i headed out before the service. I went home and used the weed eater for the first time, it worked well. Then went inside and watched hostel and wolf creek, i prefered hostel, good movie to watch before travelling, actually both are, but i still prefered hostel. Did a few things around the house, went grocery shopping with Mar. I relaxed the rest of the evening while Mar worked on school work.

The Weekend

Friday night after work I headed home and caught up on some much needed sleep. Woke up later in the evening and joined some friends for a round of drinks at Cramdon's before returning home to sleep some more.

Saturday during the day I watched some television and read. Later in the evening I went to a Jack and Jill at Club Alouette (which I'm sure I've spelled wrong).

Sunday morning I had a baptism to go to which was followed by a brief reception in the church basement. Afterwards I returned home to watch some television and nap. Later in the evening I finished off the weekend with the traditional trip to Spicoli's.

Went home, read, ate. Headed out to Mar's parents' place to take car of her cat. From there we went to a few places before heading home. Then we watched a bit of tv and went to bed.

After work I headed to my Grandma's place for dinner (roast beef, mashed potatoes, etc...) Following dinner I stopped in at a gas station to put some more air in my back tires (they had gotten quite low again). I then headed to Best Buy to help Anna pick out an mp3 player. I tried my best to get her to go with an iPod but to no avail. From there it was off to 'The Whiskey' piano bar. They were having their grand opening so from 8:00 until 10:00 they were serving free drinks and appetizers to their patrons. We left there and wandered downtown for a while eventually grabbing a drink at the Chubby Pickle to kill some time before ultimately heading down to the Brick House to finish up the night.

After work I headed home with the full intention of taking a nap. To get things started I decided reading would be a good way to fall asleep. Unfortunately while reading I got a phone call to go and play some basketball so I opted for that instead of my nap. After basketball I had some dinner then headed to Cramdons (Brews & Cues league had a week off for a private party). After Cramdon's it was home for some more reading then it was off to bed.

Went home, my friend Nick called and we met up at Jade for dinner. We followed that up with a pint at the Kildare House before I left to head over to Janet's. She had brought back a few things from Calgary, including a bottle of Monty Python's Holy Ail (bought at a private liquor store) and a Calgary Flames sign soon to be appearing in my cubicle.

Went home, read, ate. Mar's sister, sister's baby, and her mom came over to visit. I took care of some things on the computer and visited a little as well. Then we watched some tv and went to bed.

Went home, read, ate. Then we went for a walk around the park and down to check out some convience stores. Made it back home to watch the last leaf game of the season. Went online with a messenger program, first time in a long time, and talked to a friend who's moved to the states. Then watched some more tv with Mar and went to bed.

After work I headed to pick up my car (with a quick stop off at the bank for some cash to pay for it). From there I made a brief stop at my sisters to change for baseball practice. I then headed to baseball practice for a couple hours. After baseball I headed to the park to meet up with some guys for a little basketball. Following basketball I went to Brians to give a quick tutorial on how to back-up some things he downloaded from the internet. Afterwards I headed to Cramdon's to grab a bite to eat and meet up with Gino.

After work I went to Zehrs and loaded up on groceries. I then continued home and made dinner. After dinner I spent a little time organizing my stuff, downloaded some music, watched On the Waterfront, and then went for a short jog as part of my intensive slow pitch conditioning regimen.

After that I read for a bit before falling asleep on the couch.

Mar picked me up from work, as she borrowed my car for the day. We headed out to pick up her car, and when we got there we found out they couldn't fix her car until a new part came in, but that wouldn't be for a while. We took both cars back home, read, ate, watched some tv and went to bed.

After work I headed home for a brief stop and change clothes for dinner. Shortly after that I was joined by my family at which point we all left for my Dad's birthday dinner. After dinner I got dropped off and then headed to the Dominion House for drinks. Shortly after arriving the party moved to Rock Bottom where we spent the remainder of the evening. After a brief stop at the casino I headed home to bed.

Long Weekend

Thursday: Went glove shopping, ended up buying at National Sports. After that I went home and a few friends came over to play poker.

Friday: Did very little. Went over to Janet's around mid-afternoon had some dinner/lunch and then drove her and her brother to the airport. Went home and spent the evening reading and watching movies.

Saturday: Got up, did laundry and other miscellaneous chores. Went to softball practice, then golfing, then to my friend's to BBQ followed by going to Johnny Shotz for drinking and an unexpected informal high school reunion.

Sunday: Slept off the effects of Saturday night, then hung around my place before going over to the parents' for dinner. After dinner I went home, Janet called from Calgary, and I went to sleep.

Easter Weekend

Thursday night after work I headed to the mall for an hour or so before squash (got caught up in ridiculous traffic because of the motorcycle accident at Walker and the Xpresway). After the mall I headed to Place Concorde for my squash game. After squash I headed home to shower and lounge around for a while. Eventually I headed to over to Brians to get the evening started. We had a few drinks while everyone else began arriving. Eventually we headed to the Brick House to watch some live music.

Friday we were going to head out fishing, but Thursday night went way too long so everyone was tired the next morning. Instead a few people just renewed their fishing licenses and we went to Tim Hortons. Later in the afternoon we played basketball and a little catch to warm up for Saturdays upcoming baseball practice. Later Friday night I went to Cramdons for a few hours.

Saturday I slept in for the majority of the morning. Early afternoon was spent at baseball practice after which I headed back to Harrow for Easter festivities (mainly consisted of yard work and church). After church I returned to the city for a back yard bon fire and a poker game. After the evening wrapped up I headed back to Harrow again.

Sunday morning we ran through our usual Easter traditions before ultimately heading into my Grandma's place for Easter dinner. After dinner we went to visit my other grandma at the rest home that she recently checked into. Once all the family activities wrapped up I headed home to watch some television and do some reading. As usual to finish the weekend I headed to Spicoli's.

Thursday: Went home. Don't really remember what happened, much too long ago.

Friday: Slept in, didn't do much that i recall. Watched some tv, watched a movie, Better off dead... went to bed.

Saturday: Got up, went shopping. Came home, spent most of the day outside as it was beautiful weather. Mowed the lawn for the first time this year. Cleaned some stuff up in our little garden shed. Took out the canopy for a patio set we were given, and found out a mouse had made it's home there for the winter and it was ruined. From the looks of the canopy, it must have been quite tastey. Watched a couple movies, one of which was aeon flux, i enjoyed it.

Sunday: It was easter. Went over to mar's parents' place. The excitement of the evening included a baby making baby noises, and a table colapsing when mar's grandma leaned on it. From there we went back home, where i read, watched tv and went to bed.

Went home, read, ate. We headed out to a couple dollar stores to pick up a few things. Long live the dollar stores. Then went home again, Mar's mom and sister came over. She visited with them while i kept myself busy with bills and what not. They left, we watched some tv and went to bed.

After work I headed home for dinner, watched a little TV and then headed off to a meeting. After all of that excitement we made our way to Murphy's for drinks. Janet and I then went to my place where I finished High Fidelity and she worked on knitting.

After work I quickly headed home to change, from there I headed to Gino's with the intention of rotating my tires to determine if the source of the noise was related to tire size. Unfortunately that never got done. I left Gino's and headed for Softball practice which I think went pretty well. After baseball I swung by Cramdon's for a drink and to inquire about potential sponsorship for our baseball team. Once things wrapped up there I headed to Brews & Cues for a round of golden tee and some dinner. Later in the evening I returned home, read a little, and went to bed.

After work I headed home for a short while before my sister came over and we headed out to pick up some groceries for dinner. We ended up stopping at Canadian Tire so I could pick up a baseball glove, and Walmart so she could buy a pair of shoes. From there we headed to the mall for a bit to kill some time. We eventually opted to pick up fast food instead of groceries and then headed home to watch Prison Break and 24. Afterwards I went to Cramdons to play a little Golden Tee and a few games of pool to round out the night. At that point I headed home read a little and fell asleep.

Weekend Update

Friday: Went shopping, then headed home for dinner and nap. After that I headed to Roseland where our team marched to victory in the "A" Final and secured the $20 cash prize. After a couple beers at Roseland a few of us went to Stars of the Game in Lasalle and played darts.

Saturday: 6 hours after returning home I received a call from the movers to let me know they were on site 2 hours earlier than expected. I headed down to the new building and took comfort in the fact that most of those doing the heavy lifting had been out far later and had drunk far more than I had the night before. After the move was completed we left Derek to keep an eye on the building and went for lunch at Chucky Cheese. That was followed by a couple hours at home before I headed back to Roseland for our end of season curling dinner (where I collected the aforementioned $20). Dinner was followed by a trip to an art show at the University of Windsor and then drinks at the Beer Market and Brews 'n' Cues.

Sunday: Another couple hours at work, then home for lunch and to watch golf. I then transferred to Janet's before heading to Chanoso's for dinner with some of Janet's friends. Food was excellent and we even got a couple of saki bombs on the house. After that we had a coffee at Starbucks before heading to another one of Janet's friend place where she was hosting an 80s prom themed party. After an hour or two there we called it a night.

Friday: Went home, had a relaxing evening. Watched a bit of tv, went to bed fairly early.

Saturday: Got up around noon. Did a few things around the house. Went for a walk with Mar. My parents called to let me know they were back in town a day early. Watched some tv, then watched Walk the Line, enjoyable movie.


Sunday: Got up too early, went grocery shopping. Came home, took a nap, headed out to my parent's place. Helped my dad clean the systern, then ate the roast beed dinner my mom cooked for us. Went home, watched a bit of tv and went to bed.

Friday night was spent watching tv for the majority. I eventually headed to Brews and Cues for a quick round of Golden Tee.

Saturday started out with a stop by the hospital to visit with my Grandma followed by dinner at Hat Tricks. For the evening a bunch of us met up at Mark's house prior to heading downtown. Once we got downtown we headed to Room with a Cue for the night.

Sunday included a trip back to Harrow to pick up some things, church, lunch, and an evening at Spicolis.

After going home I did a little work on a newsletter for the Conservative Association while watching the Masters. After that I made myself some dinner. That was followed by quite a bit of reading until the Daily Show came on, at which point I watched that and went to bed.

After work I headed back to my ganrdma's place, settled in and watched some television. Later in the evening I made some dinner and continued watching tv. After the Daily Show I called it a night and went to bed.

Went home, read. Made myself some kraft dinner, when i looked at the box it had expired a year before, i laughed thinking, kraft dinner can't go bad. When i got done cooking the pasta, it smelled really stale. But i continued and put the cheese in, which turned it an odd colour of brown. Once again, i ensured myself that it couldn't hurt me, so i put enough pepper in to take away any taste other than pepper. After finishing it, i felt like crap, i may not have gotten sick from it, but it didn't sit to well in my stomach. For the rest of the night i just sat around watching tv and surfing the net. Mar came home, we watched a bit more tv and went to bed.

Went home, finally put up the mirror that's been sitting on my floor for two months. Made some dinner. Watched Lost (at 7pm) and, as usual, was disappointed. Janet called to tell me two of her friends are having birthday parties on the weekend, one with an 80s prom theme - le sigh.

After Lost I spent some time on the computer and reading before watching the hockey game (go Flames) and heading to bed.

I went home, read a bit. Mar made a lasagna and we ate it while watching the news. Then we went for a walk around the subdivision and the park adjacent. Went back home, worked out a bit, watched some tv, and went to bed.

After work I headed to my sisters place for a quick nap on the couch before pool. During that time she received at least a half a dozen phone calls in rapid succession so no nap was had. I then headed to my Grandma's house to pick up a key (I'll be house sitting there for a little while). Once I got the key I quickly rushed to Brews & Cues to sub for a missing member of our team. By the time I arrived Nick had shown up so I was no longer needed. Following pool we all headed to Cramdons to play Golden Tee (the machine at B&C's was in use). After Cramdon's I turned down the offer to head to the casino for some gambling and instead returned home to bed.

Killed a little time at the mall, then headed down to Roseland for employee bowling. After Brenda repeatedly stole our refill pitchers I joined my team of strangers which included Allan and his wife. Our fourth member was Chris from SmartCoverage who bowled a perfect game*.

After bowling I went back to Chapters to find a cheap book to buy and read while waiting for Janet and Nick to finish at a meeting in Essex. I paid $6.99 for a book on the history of tobacco and read the first chapter in Starbucks. After getting the call I headed to Rock Bottom to meet up with Janet and Nick. That was followed by a stop at Cruise Control and then home for the night.

Weekend Update

Friday: After work I headed downtown for a meeting of the Libertarian Conspiracy. After that I made a quick trip home before heading to Roseland for curling. We won our game and wrapped up a spot in the prestigious "A" Final for this week.

Saturday: Spent the day reading and playing golf. I made some dinner, then Janet came over after she finished work and we watched Closer (two thumbs up).

Sunday: Read and watched some more golf while cleaning up around my apartment. Around 5:30 I headed over to Janet's for dinner. I read (then fell asleep) while she worked on a paper. Then we watched Family Guy and Free Ride before I headed home.

The Weekend

Friday night after work I went home for a while. Eventually I got a couple phone calls informing me everyone was meeting up at Brews & Cues so I headed out that way to play some pool and Golden Tee. I anticipated the evening would eventually head downtown, but surprisingly we all stayed there for the duration of the night.

Saturday I picked up some exercise equipment my parents had ordered and I brought it back out to their place. After dropping it off I headed back into the city to join everyone at Brian's house for pizza before officially kicking off the evening. After dinner we headed to Dominon Golf course for a Coors Light party event. After that wrapped up we headed to Cramdon's for a while. Once we played a few games of pool a few of us opted to head downtown to finish off the night. Upon arriving downtown we got shut out of The Whiskey because they were at capacity so we opted to wait. While waiting I ran into Andy who was trying to get into Honest Lawyer to find Derek. We both attempted multiple times to inform him what was going on but to no avail... At that point we were finally being let into The Whiskey so Andy and her friend tagged along with us to avoid being caught out in the cold. Shortly after getting in Derek finally showed up. I left them to their own devices and returned to join my friends who eventually got themselves kicked out for starting a small fire in the candle holders they had at each table. Shortly after that we all decided to head out.

Sunday was spent at a memorial mass for my Grandpa followed up by watching my cousin play in a volleyball tournament. After volleyball wrapped up I headed back to my sisters house and had some soup for dinner. Shortly after finishing eating I fell asleep on the couch. I eventually awoke to watch some television before heading to Spicoli's for our usual Sunday evening weekend closer.

Friday: Just had a relaxing evening and went to bed fairly early.

Saturday: Mar had to take her cat(at her parent's place) to the vet so we were up by 8:30am. She left, i was already awake so i decided to watch a couple movies. I watched, Land of the Dead and Dark Kingdom, both were good enough for a saturday morning. Mar came home, we had a nap. Went out for chinese food. Then back home for another relaxing evening. Watched Altered States, it was ok.

Sunday: Got up, returned a buzzer and got a doorbell for downstairs. Went to the parents place to check in on it, then off to my cousin's place for a bday party. Stayed for cake and most of the game cranium, then headed off home for supper. Watched some tv and eventually went to bed.
